Modular Certifications
ZeroG's modules will be modular certified through several worldwide regulatory bodies. The idea behind modular certification is to reduce the testing and certification burden on our customers. The customer can use our modular certification so that they do not have to test for intentional radiation, as long as the customer uses the exact same configuration that ZeroG has certified. A typical multi-nation certification costs on average $50k (can go up to $100k) and typically requires 3-6 person months of preparation.
Using a ZeroG module will save designers time and money, while allowing your product to get to market faster. In addition, the module is designed by the RF/Wi-Fi experts that also designed the chip. The result is a very high quality module that is pre-tested and ready for immediate integration. To date, ZeroG has received certification from FCC, IC, the Wi-Fi Alliance and are compliant with CE, ROHS, ETSI and Japan. It includes the following:
* USA: FCC Part 15 Class B and subpart C
* Europe: ETSI EN 300 328-2 and ETSI EN 301 489-1, -17, EN60950, CE-Mark
* ROHS and CE Compliant
* Canada: RSS-210 and RSS-Gen
* Japan
* Wi-Fi® Alliance: Wi-Fi® certified
