Burnon becomes the authorized China distributor with ZeroG Wireless

Burnon International Ltd is pleased to become the authorized distributor of ZeroG Wireless, a US-based WiFi IC design and solution provider. Burnon will promote and support ZeroG Wireless solution in China.

ZeroG has effectively created the world’s first Wi-Fi I/O, a new category in the Wi-Fi space making it possible to create an exciting new set of applications that are easy and cost-effective to bring to market.

At the heart of ZeroG’s Wi-Fi I/O is its ZG2100 single-chip Wi-Fi transceiver, a single chip 802.11 radio supporting data rates up to 2 Mbits per second. The ZG2100 is optimized for low-duty cycle, low-power applications, featuring 4 different power modes, extremely low leakage, and a fast “wake-up” architecture. The device is also a true single-chip solution, with an on-chip MAC, power amplifier, baseband, and hardware acceleration for WEP, WPA and WPA2. These features, coupled with a unique memory and system architecture, make it possible for the ZG2100 to be easily integrated into nearly any system.

Its product could perfectly work with a cost-effective microcontroller that would fit for the applications such as industrial, control & monitoring, medical and consumer market. Burnon and ZeroG will work collaboratively to provide customer the most cost effective and low power WiFi based Wireless solution.
